You know what, we won’t even go through the drill of expressing surprise that a new major version of Firefox is released on a nearly-monthly basis. Mozilla released Firefox 8.0, about 7 months after it released Firefox 4.0. And they look similar, except that the new one looks more polished. In India now you can get an Android tablet for just 35$. Yes you read it right. It’s just 35$!! After almost 2 years “Aakash” is on its way. This cheapest tablet was launched today in the country’s capital New Delhi by Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal. He also handed 500 Aakash tablets to students who will trial them. Google has boosted its Gmail voice calling service, opening up support for making calls to 38 new countries. Launched in the US and Canada last year – and updated last month with support for multiple simultaneous calls – the freshly extended service will allow users to call landlines and cellphones at reduced rates.
